By using PermitNav you acknowledge and agree:

1. The official permit governs. You must carry the official permit, follow it exactly, and present it to law enforcement on request. Where PermitNav and the official permit differ, the official permit controls.
2. Route accuracy is not warranted. PermitNav reconstructs routes from the permit and third-party map data, which may contain errors or be out of date. We do not warrant that any route is accurate, legal, passable, or free of restrictions. (Issuing agencies, including NYSDOT, likewise do not warrant routing data.)
3. You are responsible for clearances and signage. You are solely responsible for verifying and obeying all posted height, width, weight, and clearance limits, signage, traffic-control devices, and bridge/road restrictions. When your load may exceed a posted or necessary clearance, perform a physical route survey as required by your permit and applicable law.
4. Field-verify every trip. Roads, closures, construction, and clearances change. Confirm the route against your official permit and current conditions before and during each trip.
5. Follow all permit conditions. This includes escort requirements, travel days/hours, speed limits, lighting, flags, and OVERSIZE LOAD signage.
6. Do not interact with the app while driving. Use voice guidance and configure the route before moving. Pull over safely to make changes.
7. Flagged or questionable segments. If PermitNav flags a segment, or any instruction looks wrong, stop and confirm with your permit and the issuing agency before proceeding. Report the issue in-app — we review every report and act on credible reports.
8. No liability for misuse. PermitNav, Pythn Development, and its suppliers are not liable for fines, citations, property damage, bridge strikes, injuries, or other losses arising from use of the app. Your operation of the vehicle and load is your responsibility, governed by your own commercial insurance.
